Meet Our Seniors
|
Call her Coach Mandy 🫡
Mandy Kelsch is a tough and crafty center mid from Brunswick, GA, and a senior graduating with an Economics degree. Next year, she’ll be pursing a masters of science in business analytics through the MSBA Double Dawgs program, so she’ll be running it back with the team 💪🔙🥳 When not at practice, Mandy is involved with Kappa Alpha Theta and coaches soccer at North Oconee High School. She’s an identical twin and loves being at Sanford Stadium. Her favorite part of club soccer has been continuing to play her sport in college and spending time with the team. We will be so glad to have Mandy’s hustle and leadership back next year but are proud of her getting her (first!) degree this spring! 🎓 |

A well-traveled soccer extraordinaire 🌎
Jordyn is a senior biology major from Roswell, GA, who plays right back for the team! After she graduates, Jordyn will be working as a medical assistant at the Northside Hospital plastic surgery office and plans to attend medical school. Her favorite part of club soccer is getting to play alongside some cool teammates 😎 and a fun fact about her is that her favorite food is ice cream 🍦 Outside of class and soccer, Jordyn is also involved with Medical Mentors. We will miss Jordyn’s hustle and heart on the field as she takes on outside forwards 1v1 💪 and the joy she brings on and off it! Congrats, Jordyn! 🎓 |

If you’ve seen our cool merch, you’ve seen the awesome work of Katelyn Castelli 👀👕
Team vice president Katelyn, a senior from Alpharetta, GA, has spent time at forward, outside back, and in between, 🏃♀️💨 up and down the sidelines! After graduating with a degree in biomedical physiology and a minor in biology, she will be attending med school at Mercer University. 🩺 Katelyn has a cat named Zeus and loves some good country music and Creature Comforts. Her favorite thing about the club team is the balance between playing soccer at a competitive level while in a fun, student-driven environment. We will miss Katelyn’s organization off the field in helping keep the club on track in its tasks 📊 and her tenacity on it! Congrats, Katelyn! |

Always hustling, on the field and as a business owner! 📈
Maddy Higgins is a senior forward from Roswell, GA, majoring in exercise and sport science. After graduating, Maddy will be applying to masters programs to become an anesthesiologist assistant and running her small business full time! Check it out @madstylesss on Insta! Maddy is also involved with Sigma Kappa and loves to eat at El Paso in Athens. Her favorite thing about club soccer has been meeting some of her best friends through the team! We will miss Maddy’s constant hustle and talent up top, her passion on and off the field, and her detailed soccer rules knowledge from her referee experience 🧐 Congrats, Maddy! 👩🎓 |

If you've admired the flair of our club's social media presence, you've undoubtedly witnessed the creative genius of Cassidy Hettesheimer 👀📱
Meet Cassidy, a senior goalkeeper hailing from Dacula, GA, and serving as our dedicated social media officer. Throughout her time with the team, Cassidy has been a stalwart presence on the field, guarding the net with unwavering determination. As she prepares to graduate with a degree in journalism, Cassidy's sights are set on a summer internship in sports reporting in Minneapolis, with hopes for a future career where she can continue crafting engaging content. 🤞 Off the field, Cassidy's talents extend beyond soccer. Did you know her shoulders are double-jointed? And with her men's March Madness bracket currently soaring in the 97.7th percentile, it's clear she's a force to be reckoned with both on and off the pitch. Congratulations, Cassidy, on an incredible journey with the UGA Women's Club Soccer team! Go Dawgs, always. |

Madam president 🫡
Last up is Rachel Stup, our wonderful president and a savvy midfielder on the field! Rachel is from Evergreen, CO, and will be returning to Colorado for PT school at the University of Colorado Denver 📚 To her, club soccer has been a place to take a break from the stress of school and to hang out with friends. Fun facts: Her high school job was working as a skate guard at the world’s largest Zamboni-groomed outdoor ice rink. In Athens, she loves the Botanical Gardens and Molly’s Coffee. The team will miss Rachel’s grounded and graceful leadership and all she’s done for the program! |
